Beauty shoot I did with Model Janie Eshom, shot separate backgrounds of Graffiti walls. The last two are light paintings, where I light different parts and bring it together in Photoshop.

Field Hockey Abstract Series

These are for the series I did for the USA Women's Field Hockey Team. I isolated the subject from the distracting background by using a solid color. I left part of the field to make the composition a little more dynamic.

WMS Field Hockey Qualifier USA V. Korea

These images were shot during the Women's World Cup Qualifier for Field Hockey, this match was USA V. Korea, the match ended up a draw 2-2. This was my second time shooting field hockey, and I think it was a little easier shooting it this time, after my first time, I was able to predict the passing and get my focus ready quicker.

WMS Field Hockey Qualifier USA V. France

These are images from the USA Womens National Field Hockey Team against France in their Qualifier for World Cup. The match took place on March 27th, USA won 3-1. This was my first time shooting field hockey, it was difficult to shoot, but I had a fun time, and it was really fun to be on the field to shoot it.

Gurkha Rugby Practice 03-25-2010

These pictures are from my friend Daryl's Rugby Team the Gurkha's Practice. I was shooting at ISO 2500, so the pics are pretty noisy, but it was my first time shooting this sport and I had a great time. For those interested Gurkha Rugby is based in North County San Diego, CA.
